Abstract: With the tremendous leap in modern technology - especially in the field of medicine - surgical medicine has expanded from mere therapeutic surgery to diseases to include what is known as cosmetic surgeries, which is intended to improve the visible image of the body used to remove congenital malformations and accidental. The need for this type of surgery is needed to treat the injuries and burns caused by accidents of airplanes, cars and burns, which distinguish cosmetic surgery from others. It is usually not related to illness but to improvement. Therefore, scholars disagree about legality in this type Of the surgical operations, and this research seeks to demonstrate the concept of cosmetic surgery and discuss the types and controls and the position of Sharia, so that Sharia is based on the rule of jurisprudence important in the statement of controls, namely (No harm and damage) followed by clarification of the ruling plastic surgery in Islamic jurisprudence. This research includes an introduction and four chapters. The researcher discussed in the first chapter the basics of the research on the importance of the subject and its objectives and the problem of research, and the research methodology, and discussed in the second chapter medical dilemmas and its concept and the rule of Ijtihad in calamities, The fourth chapter presented the researcher the provisions of cosmetic surgery and its types, and some pictures of plastic surgery, and the methodology used in this research is the inductive method based on tracking and beauty And weighting, and inductive approach to keep track of religious texts and the statement of its purposes and the views of the scholars. As for the procedural steps, the researcher followed a number of technical steps that are common in scientific research methods. The research has reached several conclusions, the most important of which are: Ijtihad may be used in medical humiliations when the conditions of Ijtihad are met, with the knowledge and study of those who are competent. The legitimate purposes of medical work and plastic surgery: the preservation of the soul and organs and body as a necessity, and the payment of damages. It is permissible to cure and is considered one of the purposes of the Shari'a to maintain the continuity of health and wellness and the ability to work, production, performance of rituals and the reconstruction of the land. The origin of cosmetics is generally legitimate, but its provisions vary according to their purpose and, according to their need, taking into account their legitimate controls. The researcher recommended several recommendations, most important of which are: Conduct more research to learn new provisions in the medical field, especially plastic surgery, because it has become an important subject and take the character of the continuous renewed era.
