Abstract

This research discuss the topic of modern preaching through the specialized channel, A case study of Taiba television channel from January 2010 – December 2011,and descriptive methodology was adopted and interview. This research aims at knowing the meaning of preaching through the specialized channel and its importance as well as its influence in the community, it also aims at knowing the role of preachers, the ulamau and the journalists in promoting the modern way of preaching. The study approved that channel as a means of presenting preach is a bless from Allah (S.W) but not innovation and trouble as others are saying and it has a great influence in the community. The study also underline that taiba is an Islamic preaching channel which passes Islamic taught to both Muslim and non-Muslim with wisdom and it helps them in knowing the religion of Islam with good understanding and it at the same time help them in managing their life here and in preparing for the day of judgment. The result also indicate that ulamau are the inheritance of the prophets hence, the have great role to play in the community and they have to modernize their way of preaching. the study finding and recommendations includes the followings: 1.modernizing the way of preaching through means of communication and through social networks specialized channel in particular, 2- Muslim Ulamau and journalist who are working in the television channel should fear God in both public and secret and should purify their intention with balance and equity in all their activities and should also avoid their personal interest to public interest. The researcher urge journalist to make good preparation for the work of journal preach and they should promote the tools and method of passing information to the listeners as well as good selection of peoples to be invited to present preaching programme. The researcher finally advice in organizing an international conference which will bring people from different part of the world together and should put rules and regulation that will lead the work of presenting preaching and other activities in the specialized television channel.
