Abstract

Abstract This research deals with the effect of the purchasing policy on the management of production, as applied to the Sudan Currency Printing Press, during the period extending from 2008 to 2013.The research problem in weak ofprocurement policies is reflected in the stock size, which leads to its accumulation in the case of the increase and to stop the production processes in the case of decreases. The importance of this research is to provide a theoretical framework for the most important policies in the procurement so as to reach procurement policy intact and the selection decision, which reduces costs. The research objective to follow the scientific policies observed in procurement, in order to attain optimal procurement policy, as well as to reach scientific and practical results to benefit the company in procurement policies,and to display procurement policiesapplied to the company.The research has used the descriptive - analytical method,as well as the case study method. The research has come to several results, the most important of which that procurement policy effecton the management of production and accumulated inventory leads to the freezing of the company's funds,hence weakening the investment revenue which leads to weakness achieve the company's aims, as well as the change in the procurement policies during work effect on the production management. The research presents several recommendations, the most important of which are, the company must rehabilitate the employeesof management purchases to be able to apply the procurement policies and performance upgrade and keep up with development, also must put on the company procurement policy on sound science and procurement sector does work must be accordance to procurement policy.
