Abstract: Educational and professional aspiration for the third secondary grade students, and its relation to some demographic variables ( field study in some provinces of the Republic of Yemen )The study aimed to identify the educational, professional aspirations on the level of public aspiration for students of the third grade secondary in the Republic of Yemen , as well as to find out the relationship between the level of public aspirations of the educational and professional aspiration , in addition to identify the relationship between the educational, professional aspiration and some of demographic variables ( the province, the level of parental education , marital status , economic status, place of residence , gender, academic specialization ) for the third secondary grade students in the Republic of Yemen .To achieve that, the researcher used the descriptive correlated methodology, the researcher used three tools in the study, firstly demographic variables, secondly the measurement of the level of public aspirations, thirdly questionnaire for educational and professional aspiration. The three tools had been applied within three months (January, February, and March) of (2013 ) upon random clustered sample of (1233) students (males and females) at some of the provinces of the Republic of Yemen. The most important findings of the study is as follows:1 - The educational aspiration of the sample of the students was of a medium level .2 - The career aspirations among the students of the sample came with a medium level as well.3 - The general level of aspiration among the students of the sample came moderately.4 - There is a relationship between the level of the educational and professional aspiration, this is a direct correlation, and the higher the level of aspiration among the students of the sample corresponded to a rise in both the educational and professional aspiration.5 - There is a relationship between the educational and professional aspiration and the province variable.6 - There is a relationship between the educational and professional aspiration of the parents' variable in level of education.7 - There is a relationship between the educational and professional aspiration and the variable of the social status of the family. 8 - There is a relationship between the vocational education and the variable aspiration of the changing economic situation of the family. 9 - There are statistically significant differences between the educational and vocational aspiration attributed to the site of residence (rural, urban) and it was for the benefit of students in urban area.10 - There are statistically significant differences between the educational and professional aspiration due to the variable type (male, female) they were in favor of male students.11 - There are statistically significant differences between the educational and professional aspiration due to the variable area of study (scientific studies, humanitarian studies) and it was in favor of scientific specialization.
