Abstract: The research aimed at to uncover the causes of refrainment of teachers and Islamic school administrators on providing professional upgrading of training for the teachers during the work duration in coast province of Kenya. The research disclosure of current situation teachers training during the work duration in Mombasa. Also the research handles، to highlights the role of teachers training during the work duration at Islamic schools in Mombasa Kenya. In addition، it’s endeavoring to come up with suitable solutions for the training obstacle during the work duration in Islamic schools in Mombasa as well as helping teachers to upgrade their competencies and provide them with the necessary skills and update them to keep up with modern pace. The researcher relied on data collection base on analytical method، interview and questionnaire methodology which suits the nature of this study. And process the data through SPSS program. The researcher reached a number of results which can contributes solutions to the course problem: 1. Role of teachers training during the work duration in Islamic schools in Mombasa province is considered positively in some aspects. 2. Actual situation of teachers training during the work duration is not promoting to the level required. 3. Fundamental needs of Islamic schools teachers in Mombasa province is to upgrade their competence and provide adequate efficiency to them. 4. Lack of modern teaching aids and means of training teachers during the work session in Mombasa province Islamic schools. 5. Reluctance of teachers training programs during the work session in Mombasa province Islamic schools. 6. Existence many teachers training obstacles in Mombasa province Islamic schools in Kenya. 7. Means used teachers training programs during the work session in Mombasa province Islamic schools is traditional. 8. Professional upgrading through training raise the academic field of specialization. 9. The upgrading professional program is characteristise easy to join it quickly. 10. Availability of large numbers of untrained teachers. Finally the researcher recommends a number of recommendations including: 1. Advance level of modern and of training teachers during the work duration in Islamic schools in Mombasa Kenya. 2. Modern technique of training teachers during the work duration in Islamic schools in Mombasa Kenya 3. Modern means of training teachers during the work duration in Islamic schools in Mombasa Kenya 4. Eliminating all sort of obstacles that faces teachers training during the work session in Mombasa Islamic schools in Kenya. 5. Relying on comprehensive training in all aspects that are applied and considered significantly during the work duration. 6. Determining training teachers during the work duration as best determination as a means of selecting and promoting teachers or providing them incentives. 7. Setting specific target for the training programs during the work session in Islamic schools in Mombasa Kenya.
