Abstract: The aim of the research is to determine the effectiveness of the use of information technology in the development of human resources management performance. The research problem is To what extent can information technology contribute to the development of human resources management performance? What is the effectiveness of computers, software, networks and the Internet in the development of human resource management department? The researcher used the historical approach, descriptive analytical method and case study, and used the questionnaire to collect data. The researcher distributed a questionnaire to 30 of the sample. The researcher tested several hypotheses, the most important of which is the effectiveness and importance of information technology in the management of human resources. Computers contribute to the development of human resources management performance,and the research reached several results, the most important; the efficiency of human resources management personnel able to use the computer effectively, the computer can succeed in the coordination process, the programs contribute to the speed of access to information. The researcher presented a number of recommendations, the most important of which are the following; Raising the speed of the Internet to benefit from the direct interviews and consultations. Increasing the efficiency of coordination between the departments of the human resources at the university internally and externally , Supporting the human resources department of the university with the modern specialized software to develop the administrative work,To convert human resources management to electronic management.
