| Abstract: | The study dealt with the planning of public relations activities and the its role that playing in achieving the objectives of governmental corporations applying to Khartoum International Airport Company in the period (2016 AD 2017) . The purpose of the study is to identify the role played by the planning of public relations activities in achieving the objectives of government corporations and to know the obstacles facing planning these activities and finding solutions to these obstacles to reduce them. The study aimed at to outstanding the importance of planning public relations activities in government corporations, Effectiveness and identification of the types of planning used at Khartoum International Airport Company, especially in the fields of public relations. The research followed the descriptive approach and method of analysis. Questionnaire was designed and a number of questions were presented in order to reach the size of the problem. The sample of the study was randomly chosen by the researcher. The study consisted of four chapters: the first chapter, the methodological framework for the research and the second chapter is public relations consisted three subjects , the third chapter is planning of public relations in government corporations included three subjects, the fourth chapter included the domain of study and the analysis. The study reached that the senior management supports the achievement of the objectives of public relations. The study cleared that the public relations department seeks to improve its performance and its relations with senior management. The study cleared that the senior management makes a deliberate effort to choose the correct and appropriate media message The study discovered that the public relations management made the first assessment of its programs and presented to the senior management , the study constantly that the public relations management made it’s programs and planning according to the corporations message vision . The research presented a mamy of recommendations, the most important of it are: the importance of communication between the Department of Public Relations and senior management, the participate of all employees in the company to achieve the general plan of management, determining the time frame for planning and follow-up by management. The importance of employees training in public relations inside or out of the country . |
