Abstract

This study aims to identify the role of voluntary organizations in the development of the Sudanese countryside by focusing on evaluating the effectiveness of the Talawiet projects in Kassala State and its impact on rural development and improvement of living conditions. The researcher used the descriptive analytical method as well as the case study methodology because it is suitable for the quality of the research. The importance of the study stems from the need to evaluate the voluntary organizations operating in the state of Kassala and Talawiet in rural development and their contribution to the development of rural development and rural capacities, and to know their advantages and disadvantages to the rural society. The study reached a number of results, including Talawiet, providing the basic services to the beneficiaries through the programs and projects that they carry out, in addition to the implementation of developmental projects for them, through conducting visits and field survey to identify the needy groups and then design projects, although there is still a strong need from the community Target. TALWAIT has a prominent role in the development of rural women, where they have established a women's farms that enable them to rely on themselves and introduced them to many food cultures and raise their capacities to recycle these farms and benefit from their income. However, the prevalence of illiteracy amongst women. National organizations have also played a major role in raising awareness among societies about the importance of the process of development and stability despite the prevailing customs and traditions in the region. The study recommends increasing illiteracy programs, especially among women, to reduce illiteracy rates And increase coordination between the government and foreign national organizations in the implementation of development projects in addition to the need to attract domestic and external funding to accelerate the development
