Abstract: Research aims to study the methods of treatment of ALO parents – as perceived by children – and their relationship to the ability of innovative thinking. I have chosen for this study a sample of students in the second grade of secondary local Khartoum – Khartoum East Unit. The sample amounted to 120 students (60) of boys and 60 girls and are a simple random sample. You use the following tools to gather information for the study: A-scale treatment ALO parents – as perceived by children, to measure the changing treatment ALO parents from the point of view of children, prepared Anwar Riad Abdel Aziz almkiseyb – 1991. B. Select the ability of innovative thinking, prepared by Syed Khair Allah 1974 and is measuring the ability of innovative thinking was selected statistical methods to analyze the results of the responses to the tools of search and selection of healds on options after the optional application y the researcher. And methods are: 1- correlation person: to find the relationship between the change of study (parental treatment methods) and the ability of innovative thinking, for the father and mother in girls and boys. 2- Choose (t) top find statistical significance for differences in averages between pinine and girls in both parental treatment methods and innovative thinking. The researcher then reached the following conclusions: 1) Reputation for General parental treatment methods characterized y negative. 2) There is no statistically significant correlation between the methods of treatment of the father as perceived by the children of those children to innovative thinking. 3) There is no statistically significant correlation between methods, as perceived by the children of those children to innovative thinking. 4) There are significant differences, between boys and girls in the methods of treatment of the father-mother treatment methods – as perceived by the children – and the ability of innovative thinking. The study made a number of recommendations and proposals, including: 1- parents should maintain tolerance and high moral principles and away from punishment and more assertive. 2- To provide the psychological security of the child during upbringing than having degrees of innovation. 3- Specialists in the field of educational psychology guidance and guide parents and subjected to scientific breeding methods. And proposals: 1- to study the relationship between parental treatment methods and other mental capabilities such as intelligence. 2- To study the relationship between parental treatment methods and mental health of students in the basic stage. 3- To study the relationship between the methods of treatment of ALO parents – and the social and economic situation.
