Abstract: The aim of this research is to highlight the opportunities and challenges in voluntary youth work, to learn about voluntary work contributions among young people and society, to shed light on youth organizations working in the field of voluntary work in Sudan and to strengthen the concept and culture of volunteer work among young people. (The Youth Forum) summarized the problem of the study in the main question: (What opportunities can be exploited and what are the challenges that impede the exploitation of opportunities in voluntary youth work?) The research also addressed the following assumptions: Contribute to youth development and capacity building. There is a statistically significant relationship between the opportunities and challenges facing youth civil society organizations, funding from the biggest challenges facing youth organizations and limiting their effectiveness. The researcher used a descriptive analytical method accompanied by case study and tracking of events through reports, interviews and others. The research community is represented in a case study of the Youth Forum of the State of Khartoum in the period from 2010 to 2016. The statistical tools used in the data form were collected from the Youth Forum in Khartoum State for a sample of 30 members. The analysis begins by describing the characteristics of the respondents using descriptive statistics. The study of sixteen results included the type of females, such as the dominant percentage and the age group of youth (30) and more, the majority and the educational level of the respondents and the number of volunteer years in the organization ranged between (1-2) and (3-5) to (9) Years are one of the reasons why young people are forced to marry The reluctance of most young people to engage in voluntary work is the absence of a volunteer culture of socialization and our curriculum. The results of the study showed that the organization had the opportunity for external participation and the challenges facing voluntary youth work were confined to the educational aspects, awareness, the culture of voluntary work, volunteerism, capacity building, laws governing voluntary work and the issue of security. . The results of the study showed that the social networking sites contributed to increasing the youth's interest in voluntary work, which is the predominant percentage. As for your contribution, the contribution of research in developing strategic plans and highlighting the opportunities and threats within the institution is a predominant proportion
