Abstract

The researcher's goal is to introduce distance education, its genesis and its stages of development. The research highlighting the methods of employing the image in educational television, its evaluates the experience of educational television in the Open University of Sudan in employing the image for the benefit of distance education. The reach the results that can be generalized in this field, which included, developing new methods and deviating from stereotypes, and providing libraries and research centers with information that benefits future researchers. The researcher used the descriptive approach and the analytical method, as the questionnaire was used as a tool to collect information from the research sample of 25 examiners one of the employees of the satellite channel of the Open University of Sudan. This sample was chosen by the international method of the research community. The researcher reached a set of results, that the University of the Sudan Open University channel has employed modern technologies in an acceptable manner and that did not keep space with the technical development and there is no coordination between electronic education and educational TV, the TV channel has worked hard to create an image Educational supportive and active on educational content and achieved a distinct experience. The research recommended developing devices and equipment, providing financial support, training and qualification for technical teams and lecturers, developing technologies and benefiting from social media sites, previous experiences in the field of education through vision to employ drama to deliver the educational message is a simple and attractive manner.
