Abstract: This research studies the impact of the application of the Total Quality Assurance (TQA) measurements in the performance and the outcomes of the Sudanese Higher Educational institutions (Universities, Institutes, colleges) in 3 chapters .The research problem can be summarised in two question. The first question investigates if there is relationship between the application of the TQA in the HEI and the improvement of their outcomes . The second question can be formulated as , what impact can be expected when the culture of the TQA is generalized among the parties involved in the higher education , taking “The Emirates Technical College” as a case study. The research is based on the following hypotheses: • There is a direct and obvious relationship between the application of the TQA in the HEI and the outcome of these institutions. • The awareness of the policy maker in the educational field with the requirements of the TQA influences the outcome positively. The author used both the descriptive and statistical analytical methodologies. In order to test the relevance of the study, a comprehensive survey is achieved. Additional interviews with relevant specialist are conducted to cover more opinions. The author came out with many findings. The following are the most important findings: • There is a positive relationship between the application of the TQA in the HEI and the outcome of these institutions. This relationship can be expressed in statistical function and terms. • Ignorance of the application of the TQA in the HEI leads to serious negative results. According to research findings, the author formulated a patch of recommendations addressed to the policy maker in the HEI, Ministry of higher Education, and the government of Sudan. The policy maker is recommended to improve the infrastructure, the human resources, syllabuses, and the educational means. The government of Sudan is strongly recommended to support both private and public higher education, encourage the scientific research, and to enhance the environment of the private higher education.
