Abstract: The study aims at indentifying the role of administrative supervision in efficiency of administrative process of marine ports corporation, this study is conducted because of the importance of the role played by the function of administrative supervision in administrative performance and role of the supervisor who has the enough skills that enable him/her to encourage the inferiors to carry out their responsibilities properly and as required. The problem of study has been addressed by the assumption that, the administrative supervision in marine ports cooperation is based on discretion, that is to say, the supervisor does not rush in taking decisions but always makes it in a rational and stereotyped manner. The supervisor used to take decision after necessary revision is made. They also have the required technical skills, Humanitarian relationships and conception skills. In this regard, the administrative supervision in marine ports cooperation has a major effect on the corporation performance. The researcher uses the descriptive and analytical methods in addition to the case study. The researcher employed the questionnaire as a major tool to collect information from study sampling. The study population represents a number of interviewees in marine ports corporation. About ninety populations have been selected as Samples from workers, employees and chief of divisions. The researcher concluded with some results, the most important of which: - There is conformity between the scope of administrative supervision and the nature of marine ports corporation. - The delegation of authority does not contribute in innovation without ample administrative directions towards inferiors. - Weak means of communication led to negative feedback of supervision, and the supervision does not have ample contribution on efficiency of administrative performance. The researcher recommended the followings: - That the delegation of authority system in the corporation should be revised and constructive criticism should be enhanced. - Security and safety procedures should be considered. - Communication channels should be boosted to facilitate in the flow of information and making policy work a clear one.
