Abstract: The research done under the title (Relationship between School administration and local community, its role in activating educational process). Importance of this research emerges from that its results may make school's directors and teachers get benefit in activating the relationship between school administration and local community. The researcher adopted the descriptive method which bases on analysis as a research method, besides, questionnaire as a tool of gathering data. The study applied on a sample that consisted of (65) member of educational council, (13) director and (62) teacher. The researcher has reached a number of results that may lead to activation between the school and the local community. Among these results: The good relationship between the school and the local community leads to the provision of a sound educational environment for the school. Providing the local community with an appropriate and healthy environment for the school helps to raise students ’achievement, does not work. The local community to overcome the difficulties facing the teachers, the school does not work in coordination with the community to provide reinforcement lessons to raise the level of student achievement, the local community does not inspect the school’s needs and work to provide them, the Educational Council does not work to search for means of support for the school. The study came up with several recommendations, including: strengthening the relationship between the school and the local community through various meetings and events, and the need to train teachers in the skill of individual and group communication, and to look for other means of support for the school by establishing some properties in it to return its income to the benefit of the school.The research concluded to address some suggestions that may activate educational process through the relationship between school administration and local community that can be summarized as follows: Trends of teachers and guardians towards the relationship between the school and the local community, obstacles that hinder this relationship in Basic Stage at Khartoum West Unit.
