Abstract: This thesis deals with adopting television for teaching Arabic Language in the inter-Lingual Society of Sukey Locality within Sennar State. The study is after making use of the television in teaching Arabic Language for its non-speakers, This is on the bases that the television is an effective means for studying Arabic Language by means of hearing and seeing. The study adopted the descriptive analytic and applied methods then using questionnaire and interviews. A Lesson is prepared and cast down through the television of Sennar State. It was focused towards the students of the Local government of Sukey studying Arabic Language as non-speakers of the Language. The Study is prepared for seven selected schools in the Locality of Sukey, they are as follows: 3 Schools within Sukey Town. 2 Schools at Ab-Gara Villege. 2 Schools at Sha-shena Villege. The Selection of those schools was done at random, besides the mentioned areas in the Locality are highly populated in the Locality and of various Languages. Among the important resells of the study are: (1) The Television as means of teaching Arabic Language for its non-speakers is so effective. (2) The teaching methods adopted for teaching Arabic Language for its non-speakers at Sukey Locality are not suitable for the students targeted. (3) The curriculum set up for teaching Arabic Language for its non- speakers does not fulfil the task. The study ended up with a number of suggestions, top of which are the followings; (1) The need of training Arabic Language teachers who teach students being non-speakers of Arabic Language. (2) Ministry of Education is kindly required to set up a special curriculum for teaching Arabic Language for non-of its speakers. (3) The need of using up to-date means of Education including television for teaching Arabic Language in the inter lingual areas.
