Abstract

This research deal with the subject of the role information system in the strategic planning (case study Alneelain Bank). The problem of the research is to answer the question about the avallablity of accurate information in preparation of strategic planning a series of questions has been resulted from this question. The aim of this research is to identify the information system and their role in the development of the institution, identilying the role of informatio n in raising the competitiveness of the instituation, identifying the strategic system and the impact of information system. The researcher also tries to pick the hypothesis that is there is a correlation between the use of information system and the increasing of the efficiency of the institution. Strategic planning leads to raise competitiveness of the institution. There is a correlation between the use of information systems and strategic planning. The research composed of four chapters, and the researcher used descriptive, analytical method and a case study approach, and adopted data collection tools represented in the questionnaire, and the research society represents the samples of workers in the Neelain Bank. The researcher has come to several most important results. The use of information systems increases the efficlency of the Bank. Information system can discover the internal changes in the Bank so that you can prepare for the changes and developing strategic plans in each of administrative levels and leads to raise the competivie capacity of the institution.
