| Abstract: | The research examines the curriculum of Islamic studies in Arabic senior secondary schools (class three) in Zamfara state Nigeria. The aim of the research to identify the scientific and educational goals, the sources of Islamic education like the Divine revelation problem hindering the process of teaching Islamic education. The researcher applies the descriptive analytical methodology. The study is on Zamfara state in Northern Nigeria. The sample includes forty (40) teachers (men and women), and also researcher uses the questionnaire to collect data, and analyze it statistically. The most important findings of the research include: 1- The teachers of Islamic education are in an urgent need of manfold multimedia in teaching the Subject. 2- Weakness of the Supervisor of Islamic Studies in enhancing the teachers of Islamic Studies on using external sources in teaching the Subject. Finally the researcher recommends the following: 1. Reorganization of Islamic Studies Circular content in the different stages off education, to commensurate with the level of the students and with the development in educational technology. 2. Attention to training of teacher of the Islamic education in service, to help them to cope with scientific and technological developments. 3. To work on a training and educational courses for teachers. |
